X-Treme Disappointment

X-Treme Scooters and/or "Greg Meske" (owner/VP) at Alpha Products Intl. has contacted a patent attorney who in turn *did not contact me, nor my web host*, but, behind my back, contacted the company in control of the servers for my host - in an attempt to have BaseStationZero.com completely removed for "copyright infringement". Apparently someone at X-Treme feels I may be a bigger threat than most with me letting everyone know of all the problems my customers and I have had over the past several years dealing with X-Treme / API. If this had been an actual infringement issue, someone from X-Treme could have just emailed me asking that I remove it - but since they think they can sneak around in hopes of removing my entire site (which has a lot more to it than just selling X-Treme scooters), things have gotten a bit more serious.

At the moment, I am communicating with my own legal advisor as well as the Better Business Bureau, Tom Miller of the Iowa state Attorney General's Office, as well as several other local and international authorities which also include the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP). I have also sent a notarized letter to the IRS informing them of my concerns about the business ethics of Alpha Products International. I will be buying advertising space in the local Newton and Des Moines newspapers to let the local people know how to find the true information online about other customers' dealings with API and the problems associated with buying from them.

It's a shame; a company selling these types of products has a real good potential for the future... it's unfortunate that X-Treme does business with customers the way it does. You'll want to watch your back (and your wallet) with them.

ArcticFox I have learned of this first hand as alfa products sent me a "defective"
Xb-70Li, as far as it Being poorly/improperly assembled and ultimately dieing after less than a month. Just sent it back to them today after months of ticket posts where they continued to refuse to take responsibility. will post my ticket logs in a blog here for all to see. Alfa products has a seemingly endless road tward covering up of their shotty business ethics imo. Read the ticket logs they may help you some way and if I can do anything to help you please let me know.
