Ok , I know that with any used ,, well anything there can be problems.
I got my very 1st EV. The EVT 168 equinox. I love the look and handling of this bike. I love the whole idea of the Green machine. I love the way I dont pay for gas with it:) What I dont love is the fact that I didnt know enough about them before I got it. Seams I have run into a few problems that Iam just now getting to grips with.

With the help of this forum ( and my I say you all a great bunch of people) I'm fixing things as we go.

Battery String or not to String !

So far I have gone through the quest to find the best charging methode.

I tried the String charger = not charging enough and some batteries not getting full charge.

I tried Adding Balancing to the string charger setup = not really helping out seeing as I dont leave the bike for hours at a time in a state of mid charge.

Finaly I have gone with what I belive to be the best way "Charge Banks" 4 chargers, one on each battery. This has the advatages of never being over charged or undercharged, and there always balanced out to the best of the betteries capacity.

SO answer to the Sting or not to String is ----- NOT TO STRING!

Fast update on the whole charge debate. I have found after almost 2 months of charging and use that the batteries have never been so happy ! They charge and stop then float if needed. All in balance all working at max power! Before I was using the string charger , after 12 hours the batteries would be down to 12.7 volts. Now after a week of not using or charging them there still at 13.00volts !!! So a resounding awsome for the new 4 charger setup. (all for about $100 from Lowes total)
