Pollution & Inflation, Two Worst Evils:
EV Revolution, the Only Savior – for India

On the other day I witnessed a Business Presentation by an Economic Advisor of a leading member nation of the OPEC.
It was heartening to hear that they are able to control inflation within 2 % for a longer period during the last decade. Though I raised the question on the ‘secret behind it ‘, I knew the reasons behind that. It is only their control on the Crude Oil Prices and the fact that Black Gold only controls the International Economy which is dependent on Petroleum Products’ price and fluctuations. It is no longer a Gold based or US $ based one. You can find that there will always be a direct relation between the prices of Yellow Gold & Black Gold .The reaction for Yellow Gold mostly arises in Indian homes but the Black Gold will affect the whole world.

We have forgotten the Panchayat Raj or the Dharmakartha principle of M K Gandhi. We are wasting our time, energy & money to the new Maharajas of this hereditary democracy and the 1000 and odd families of leading politically strong families of various parties. Only the flags change and not the attitudes. Our young I T Professionals are sold by body shopping to earn the crucial US $s . But the local Maharajas and Slaves in India waste the US $s in unnecessary commuting using the conventional automobiles within India due to wrong economic policies without any regulations on conservation of Petrol & other Energy . There is always a geometrical proposition of increase in inflation due to increase in petrol/diesel prices. We have never adopted the district level planning and development. We have no power plants installed district -wise and education or other infrastructures established district-wise. We always think of large and waste a large and bring in unnecessary logistics .These logistics need lot of petrol or diesel. It is all to give business to the OPEC .OPEC maintain their internal inflations well by 100 % export of their inflation along with the Barrels of Crude Oil. We work hard with kaizen or continuous improvements & productivity [in private sectors only] to pay for the inflation .Our Finance Ministers & RBI have no control on this. They are only periodically adjusting taxes & interest rates to meet the Crude Oil Bills. Our Government Employees including the Maharajas [ M Ps & MLAs ] also get compensated at periodical intervals without any relevance to the contribution.
People in Automotive Companies know how much technological challenges are being met by TPM /Six Sigma / 5 S /TQM etc. What is the use? Everything is wiped away by a single stroke of increase in Crude Oil Price. The OPEC population or the Governments are not at all affected. If you apply the inflation ratio in reverse our Good Car of today should cost only Rs 50,000/- which is the same cost of our old Ambassadors and Fiats .That means we have struggled hard to give a better car to the consumer. Imagine that there is less inflation in India the same cars of Rs 5 Lakhs should cost you only Rs 50,000/- .What I am trying to say is that our Techno-Commercial Developments have gone as mere waste purely due to inflation ignited by crude oil prices. Let us put a full –stop to this. You know why most of the automotive countries are rushing to put their plants in India? Because they can’t do the IC Engine car business in the near future in their home-lands and continue to pollute them and China is already going fast in EV Revolutions fine tuned by enormous improvements in infrastructure. One important bottleneck in EV growth in India is the poor conditions of roads. Unless we improve the quality of roads we can’t get the best out of the EVs. Some of us might have seen the famous film on ‘Who Killed the Electric Car in US? ‘
We should wish that the same kind of IC Engine Lobby or Petroleum Lobby should not come in the way of EV Revolution in India.

The ONLY solution to control Petrol /Diesel Prices is to REDUCE the CONSUMPTION / DEMAND. The only way is to bring an EV Revolution in India. We have to spend much for R& D in Batteries and Renewable Energy to get FREE Energy from Sun & Good water from the Seas- the real sumptuous gift by God / Nature.
We have to bring an equal Revolution in the Desalination Technology to bring good water for both drinking & irrigation.
The hidden Demon for inflation and ill -health is going to be the scarcity of good water – the greatest challenge of this century
The URGET need of India is to bring in breakthrough technologies in both the areas of EV and Desalination.

We are seeing millions of CMT of rain water being flown to our Seas We are accustomed to spending a lot for both Flood Relief & Draught Relief and new Maharajas flying in Helicopters to see both the reliefs out of our tax payers’ money and not solving both .

In one way India should have spent more and diverted more Funds and Thrust for Water & EV rather than spending huge money in satellites an landing an Indian on Moon through an Indian made Satellite .
Let us bring Revolutions in EV as well as Desalination to bring the real strengths in economy /environment for the real greener India.
