So it is possible to do the shunt mod with the xb500? If any 1 has this process with pictures please let me know. I also want to add another battery tell me if this is ok

You could use the search function on V is for Voltage to find what you are looking for, but I did it and found this.

I did the shunt mod and it works great so far. I've rode about 8 miles at a time with no problem at full speed. A total of about 50 miles so far. I totaly feel the difference in take offs and hill climbing. So it work s good so far!
