Love my little Bike

I ride a home made semi recumbent with a Wilderness Energy 36 volt hub motor.
12 amph slas and a JC-116 controller from TNC Scooters ( the controller that came with the motor was bad and the one they sent to replace it didn't last long)
This is my only transportation and it serves my needs very well although someday I want to go with NICADS.
I am very soon planing on going to 17 or 18 amph batts for the range in cress although I will have to find some place else to mount them.
I can go about 20 mph for about 19 miles but I have found that running at about 14 mph I can get close to 27 miles without any peddling.
I will say that I will never go back to something with an ice in it again it is nice to ride without any noise and the fact that in Illinois anyway with my setup no licenses tags or anything like that is needed.
I will post some pics when I get my camera going again just wanted to say what I have
and to kinda introduce myself.

Hi William,

Welcome to the site!
That's some serious mileage you're getting and good speed.
You mean that you can get all that from your current (no pun intended) setup? (i.e. 12Ah)
I have 36Ah sla's and get about the same but I'm sure my bike (and I) weigh more and we have lots of hills here.

I look forward to seeing some pics when you get your camera going.

Here's my homemade mountain bike.
