Vectrix error codes, yellow wrench warnings
Hello all.
Feel free to add codes you've experienced, plus implications & solutions. I'll try and collate as many of them as I can from the site as I browse.
It would be useful to know what software version was being run, & how old your Vectrix is.
Right: Let's get the ball rolling...
no ts: Implications unknown as yet. Bike runs ok (only just got it though). Second hand 08 Vectrix, latest software (2010)

Re: Vectrix error codes, yellow wrench warnings
CAPcur: One of the fuses that feeds the big bus caps of the MC is blown. Most likely cause is a breakdown of one of the caps which caused too much AC current to flow in and out of the cap. Ridable, but more burden on the other 3 caps. Fixed by changing either the fuse and cap or complete MC (from X Vectrix).
Re: Vectrix error codes, yellow wrench warnings
CANBUS: CANBUS disappears in aprox. 30 seconds, yellow wrench after aprox. 1 minute. Chip sync problem- some chips get out of sync for a short while but then auto reset: Harmless (X Vectrix).
Re: Vectrix error codes, yellow wrench warnings
Encdr-Error: Dirty/contaminated encoder (Rear wheel rotation sensor). Fixed by cleaning housing & replacing gasket (mikemitbike).
BUsVLT (Battery under safe Voltage)
CAPhOT = Capacitors hot
Bathot = Battery hot (Mik)
no TS: No temperature sensors. Charger not receiving the PGN (CANbus data) from temperature sensors on battery pack. (X Vectrix)

uP RSt
uP RSt = microprocessor reset. It is a normal random error. Nothing to worry about.
