Ken seems to have regained control of the site, and is currently using a back up from the old format.
Ken has not contacted me yet that the site was ready. His last request was to stay from the site for several days. I received a notification that some members were posting on the site today.
I would ask that we not return until Ken says it's ok to return. As far as I know the moderation team is not in place yet, so that additional burden will fall on Ken right now.
The latest post that I noticed other than today seems to be Jun 29 2006, so if you subscribed after that date you may have to subscribe again. I don't know, so that's why I believe we should wait until Ken gives us some kind of guidance before we return.
There were several people making backups, so the data has been saved.
I have contacted Ken, and will keep you updated as soon as I know something.
As we all know this is a very busy weekend, and Ken does have a life other than V is for Voltage. If I don't hear from him by Monday, I will call him to get the status of the site.

online this morning as well as I couldn't seem to get onto this board and the old board came up. Thought I remembered David saying that when the old board was up, he'd take this one down, so I thought all this happened. Guess I jumped the gun like some others. Sorry!

last time I checked Ken's board. Based on past experience, it might be quite a while before it gets restored to usefulness.
I still don't know my way around this forum that well yet, but I'm sure I posted that Ken said he would post a update here latter today. If I failed to relay that information then I apologize.
Some where here I made the special effort to say Ken said, just so there wouldn't be any misunderstanding, and people won't say Gman said. I only relay the messages in a effort to keep everyone updated as a courtesy to the members. Remember I'm just a volunteer also.
He also said he has gotten the last of the bad code off the site. Now he is working on the upgrade to prevent further attacks in the future.
He will also address the funding issue when he makes his post here.
I will leave that up to Ken to explain.
As far as Endless Sphere that was a over site on my part, I try and send notifications where ever I know or believe member might be. The last time I visited Endless Sphere, I only noticed you and probably a few more that I recognized. If you know of other places where I should send the information please let me know. Right now I send notifications to about 12, several now have me moderated, and I've received my #1 warning on another, 3 more and I'm banned.

Oops. I thought it was back up. My account was non existant but it let me make a new one. I figured if it was accepting new accounts it was up and running.
