ABOUT THE Z-20

About to make its appearance in the US Market by this Spring 2007, EVTAMERICA is proud to present the Z-20, the State of the Art two-wheeled All Electric Vehicle. This electric motorcycle manufactured by EVTAMERICA is powered by a 2000-watt 48-volt hub motor capable of allowing it to reach a speed of approximately 45 miles per hour (equivalent to 75 kilometers per hour)*. Translating experience into functional innovations, the Z-20 is arguably the most remarkable electric vehicle expected to hit the market this year 2007. The 48-volt 2000-watt hub motor is significantly more powerful than the 48-volt 1500-watt hub motor used in our motor-driven cycles therefore providing the Z-20 with the necessary torque to tackle steeper inclines and carry more weight. The hub motor has over 90% efficiency rating.

The Z-20 has completed USA DOT Safety Standards Compliance and is now STREET LEGAL. This ELECTRIC MOTORCYLE will be sold in the USA this year 2007. Forthwith Certification for the European Union and Canada will rapidly follow.

Almost makes me sorry I did a conversion. Can't wait for some real world testing.

I hope it comes to be. I remember a similar announcement two years ago so I'm not holding my breath. Plus if they really were going to distribute in May, shouldn't they have something better than a cheesy slide show by now? The last video I saw predates the controller redesign.
