Rear weel doesn't spin freely

Hello. The rear wheel doesn't spin freely and the highest speed that I can get from the motor is only 6 miles/hour. Any ideas where to start?
Thank you

Check the connector plugs from the controller to the motor. You should have three big ones, and a five-contact multiple. It sounds like you aren't getting power to all the phases.

The general principle of operation is that the controller pulses power to the correct phase windings based on the signal it gets from the smaller Hall-effect sensors.

Have a look at "Endless Sphere" for more informed opinion. Thanks heaven, I haven't had to deal with this kind of problem on my XB600.

Check to make sure your rear brake isn't adjusted too tightly or stuck in the ON position.

Oh yes, that! Check brakes first, like he said.
