I have a Lepton-e Oxygen scooter that runs on two M50-12 Ni-Zn Batteries. Both batteries are dead and I am looking for a fix. Do you have any suggestions? I have run into many dead ends and would greatly appreciate your help!

Re: Oxygen Lepton-e

From what I've seen, most people (and dealers) converted the NiZn models to BB 50AH SLA batteries. I have a 2001 Lepton with the original 37AH AGM batteries, and it's become clear over the years that this scooter does well with SLAs. Range with the BB batteries is supposed to be 35 miles or more. If you can find dealers who used to sell the converted version, they can tell you how to do it yourself.
