Folding pedals, good idea?

Hi all,

I just thought to ask, when you're forced to place the pedals on an electric bike like the X-treme XB-700Li, if it be a good idea to have these folding pedals installed?
I don't like the regular pedals because they bounce against the floor if they are not horizontal. You think these folding pedals will make things better or worse?
