1. General
Lithium battery (including Lifepo4 battery, lithium manganate battery,ternary polymer battery) has the characteristics of light weight, large specific energy, large specific power, no polution, etc. But due to the vulnerability of lithium battery, effective management of charging and discharging of the battery is needed.

ABMS-EK01 series lithium battery management system(BMS) is designed for Electric bike, Electric motorcycle, Electric tricycle, sightseeing car,golf cart, electric forklift etc. This BMS is applicable for 16S to 24S lifepo4 battery or ternary polymer battery. It has overvoltage protection, under-voltage protection, over-current protection, high-low temperature protection for single cell. It reads the battery information, sets value for battery capacity, over voltage and low voltage, the number of battery series through RS-485 communication. It adapts to different application and different battery. At the same time, it has the function of intelligent cell balance to enhance the lifetime battery pack.

4. Product Features:
4.1, The BMS has integrated design with battery information collection of voltage, current,temperature and SOC estimation. It has been inbuilt with several software and hardware protection.
4.2, High precision integrated IC LTC6802-3 specially designed for lithium battery and 32-bit MCU. Perfect combination of precision and dependability.
4.3, For electric motorcycle, it has electric lock to triger charging and discharging to enble BMS to be in standby state with zero consumption.
4.4, For electric motorcycle, it has the function of low SOC current limiting and the function of cutting off motor contoller power supply undervoltage to save the cost of expensive large power switch.
4.5 For electric motorcycle, it has the function of runaway prevention.
4.6 It can realize the management of lifepo4 battery and ternary polymer battery through upper computer.
4.7, It can realize the management of 16S to 24S batteries through simple setting.

4.8, RS-485 ports to perform Modbus protocals with CAN bus reserved.
4.9, Hi reliable FRAM to storage battery information so that battery failing mode can be traced.
4.10, Based on improved open-circuit voltage method and integration method, SOC accuracy error is less than 10%

5.2, To test the charging and discharging current of battery.
5.3,Overvoltage, undervoltage protection for single cell, high and low temperature protection for battery packs and overcurrent protection for battery packs.
5.4, Automatic balancing.

5.6, Battery information storage.
5.7, Battery warning and protection can be reset according to different applications.
