Wanted to buy. -- grab handle assembly

Just noticed today the grab handle on my bike is cracking. Anyone parting a bike have one to sell (US)? Prefer white but will take any color for the right price.

If you can't find a cheap second hand one, a white one can be purchased from Vectrixparts.com.

Re: Wanted to buy. -- grab handle assembly

Do you mean the handles on either side of the passenger seat? Or the handlebar grips?

For the grips I never liked the ones that come with the bike. And pretty much to get them off you have to cut them off. Putting them on you soap up the handlebar and the inside of the new grab handle and slip it on, when it drys it will not move. I changed style to one that my hand won't sweat thru. It's made up of ribs that allow more airflow, although that makes it less comfortable, by the time I replaced the original it felt DISGUSTING to touch, all sticky and gross. I have had the new one longer than the old one existed and it's great.

The new bike only has a few miles on it and is running on the originals so it's only when I'm holding them that they are wearing out. I know, I should wear gloves for when I wreck, goal: don't wreck. I am awful, shorts in the summer, when I visit Arizona, I ride w/o a helmet. If I liked flip-flops I would probably ride with them too.

I had gone to the local shop and asked them to swap the grips out for me and it was pretty cheap, but I have since seen grab handles that are under $10. Now that I know about cutting and soaping (I should have remembered from childhood, same as on a bicycle) I may do the new bike myself, when it's time. I was bamboozled by the screw-on handlebar-ends. I couldn't get them to come loose, but now that the shop did, I can undo them by hand.

Re: Wanted to buy. -- grab handle assembly

I should've been more clear.... I'm talking about the passenger grab handle.

I have the center stand on my bike, and it takes a wee bit of manhandling to get it up on the stand. I don't know if pulling on this to shift the bike back is causing the crack. It's not broke (yet), but wanted to find one before it does break.
