Is the charger bay water tight?

As the title, is the bay waterproof? Taking the old charger out, I've not seen any road grime or suggestion it gets wet.

I've now blown 2 small waterproof chargers in the last month. I want to replace it with a bigger charger that can cope better but nothing at a reasonable price is water proof. Thanks.

No, but...

Everyone uses the Elcon (assuming you don't want to fork out for a Runke). Why re-invent the wheel? MW

Re: Is the charger bay water tight?

Ah, dammit. I should have. $500aud + shipping from Australia. Would have been a good investment.

I ended up ordering a 150v Mean Well Charger for $300aud delivered from Hong Kong... at 1/3rd of the charge rate.

I should have waited for a reply, rather than keep researching waterproof power supplies.

Thanks anyway.
