Paktrakr

A couple days ago i finally got around to putting a paktrakr on my emax to monitor my thunderskys. Ive just come across an unexpcted draw back. each of the paktrakr's remote sensors draw the operating curent (90ma) from the 1st cells, driving the pac out of balance. To counter this im leaving the charger plugged in permanently as the float current is more than 90ma. but its still having the undesired effect of causing a lower final charge voltage for the 1st 3 cells.

I thought i would inform others of the limitation so that if the were planing on getting a paktrakr (still highly recommended) they could come up with a solution before having it wired up.

Re: Paktrakr

turns out i misread the documentation doh!
the paktrakr only draws 25ma from the 1st 3cells of the first remote, and much less for the rest.
its not then difficult to keep the pack balanced.
