veken hybrid scooter

Yeah, it looks pretty cool - but I'm not sure these series hybrid scooters that are turning up are that good an idea. My reasoning is that they're more complex and even more rare than electric only mopeds - not a good combination when it comes to keeping them going. They're also more expensive then either an all electric or an all gas.

Personally, (and yes I am biased), I'd go for all electric first. If all electric isn't viable for you (because of range concerns) then I'd go with a 50cc all gas moped (they're cheaper and pretty darn efficient).
