Scooter question

Scooter Question
Hi guys, I don't really know a lot about electric scooter, but I bought this cheap and crappy little "e-scooter" and i just charged it overnight with what I believe is it's charger, but it won't go. Anyone have any speculations?

heres a pic of the scooter

Re: Scooter question

Check for any bad connections or a blown fuse. Unplug then plug in all of the connectors to the controller, and check for any damaged wires including to the throttle and the brake switches.

Re: Scooter question

LOL.

That looks like X-Treme's X-10. Does the charger look like this?:

Let me know if you need parts. Eye-wink

Re: Scooter question

I had a couple of these scooters with the same problem. I actually had to go sa far as to modify the charging PCB a little bit.

There is a transistor on the board that is supposed to not allow the scooter to operate when the scooter is charging. I shorted out this "safety" circuit to allow the scooter to charge.

Everything worked fine after I did this little modification.
