Replacement Batteries for EMAX ??? >>>>>>>

We all know that the EMAX scooter has a strange arrangement for the battery setup, stock at 48volts, it uses 2 banks of 4 x 17-22Ah SLA batteries and if you are running the 60volt conversion it uses 2 banks of 5 x 17-22Ah SLA's. Looking thru ThunderSky's site I saw these Lithium batteries that look like they are a DIRECT fit for the stock SLA's. Does anyone have any actual experience with these Lithium batteries ?? Let me know what you all think as I would like to do a 60volt conversion and my stock SLA batteries are down to about a 10mile range now. God Bless Smiling

Such a 12 volt drop-in battery looks tempting, but it is probably just conceptual vaporware at this point - and how do you assure cell balance for the four individual cells in such a battery?

I converted my e-max to LifePO4's using the Thundersky 40AH single cells (LFP40AHA). I'm working on an article now.

Please keep me updated on it PJD as I would like to replace the original silicone batteries with something better and convert to a 60volt system. God Bless Smiling
