I was thinking that JB weld stick (the real version of that mighty putty stuff, and predates mighty putty by about 20 years) would work well, since it solidifies into what is basically an epoxy.
but, what do you guys use?

I think this is the main reason I don't like plastic; when it breaks, nothing can glue it back together.
Epoxy doesn't stick, neither does superglue. I did find this online. I haven't tried it, but it looks promising...

Depends on the plastic. PC7 works great on pvc type plastics and fiberglass or other composites. Polyethylene and abs are near impossibe to get anything to stick to. One product that will stick, but be ugly is gutter caulk. The stuff to seal raingutters is super sticky.

I found the only real thing that works is to add a metal brace and rivet it to the plastic. You can usually hide the metal brace on the inside with just the rivets showing on the outside. I also stop drill the crack to keep it from growing.

Agreed on the rivet trick but in general heavy dutty liquid nails have fixed me even seats tops .
