Anyone here hack/tweak a Mongoose CX200??

I've looked through the whole site and didn't find any info on this, so I'm posting it up...

Anyone know if it has the same motor as all the other currie scooters? I'm thinking of getting one and changing out the motor/controller/batts.

Thoughts, info?

Thanks guys!

Can't wait for the LiFePO batts to come down in price!

Re: Anyone here hack/tweak a Mongoose CX200??

Wow, not even one post yet!?! Guess nobody here has ever touched one. I was thinking it would be a good starting platform. At least a cheap one! Am I wrong? I'd like to work towards having something that can hit around 30mph and have full suspension, and something sporty. Obviously there are a few sweet rides out there that fit this, however as everyone here knows they are all well above $1K and out of my starting price range. Plus, I'm a hobby guy that loves to put together his own toys when possible.

So any suggestions for a starting point on this other than the Mongoose?
