Gear Reduction units? Where to get?

I'm trying to find some gear reduction units and thought you guys would already have the low down on them. I've tried searching and only came up on the CVT attempt. Man that sounds like a good idea if you could get it to work efficiently enough.

Thanks ahead of time guys!

Re: Gear Reduction units? Where to get?

www.cyclone-tw.com will probably sell you the planetary gear reduction box they use - just drop them an e-mail and ask. it's about a 9:1 reduction. If you don't know how to do your own machining, it probably won't fit with any other motor/drivetrain system than the one it's designed for.

Re: Gear Reduction units? Where to get?

Thanks, I was thinking there have to be some more mass produced units out there that could be used... I can always drop by a few of the local shops near me and have some lite work done. As long as it's lite work I doubt they would charge much...

Is there a place to pickup the lashout rear section without a motor?

Thanks to anyone with the info.. I think it would be good to have this info in the forums.
