Tektro Brake Parts
Submitted by tmort on Fri, 08/15/2008 - 11:23.
I have some Tektro 841 brakes from an EVGlobal ebike that I would like to use on an ebike I am making. I'm in need of the little plastic piece (reed switch?) that mounts to the lever that has the wire on it. Does anyone know of a source for these?
Thanks

Re: Tektro Brake Parts
I know of one place that may carry them. But they are pricy.
The may want to sell you the whole assembly.
Try them

Re: Tektro Brake Parts
Thanks,
I'm aware of them, but, if they had the part it would probably be those from the evglobal ebikes which have a shorter lead than I need. Their controller was in the front of the bike mine will be on the back.
Tektro lists an ebike lever on their web page, but, I can't find anyone who carries tektro products that will even respond to my questions.
Re: Tektro Brake Parts
It is pretty easy to extend there length once you find them. There are 2 wires only.
