Need Help Upgrading a scooter engine ......

Hey Guys,
I've just got my self a new scooter and i want to upgrade the engine ,
The current spec of the engine is my1020,560w,24vdc,rated current 18.9 A,Speed3000rpm
To what engine can i upgrade it to ?
I live on an hill and scooter engine does not get there ,so i need a stronger and faster engine
Please help

One possible option might be to up the voltage to 36V, which will result in a higher top motor RPM (you may need to add fan-cooling that kicks on when the controller and motor get warm from the extra heat).
You can then install either a smaller spocket on the motor, a bigger sprocket on the wheel, or both. Your top speed would be about the same as it is now, but you would have more hill-climbing torque.
If your scooter uses the MY1020 series of motors, I "think" you can upgrade to a 1,000W motor...just some ideas to kick around.

They'll handle 36v. I'm putting a my1070 on a rad2go sunbird at 36v at first, then maybe 48v.
