BL36 Owners

A couple of questions:

1-When you plug your battery pack in do you show any lights on the controller if the "ON/OFF" switch is in the "OFF" position?

2-In the "OFF" position do you show any lights at the thumb throttle (if so equipped)?

My controller shows lights on both, the controller and the thumb throttle, regardless of the postion of the "ON/OFF" switch at the controller. Do I have a problem? Thanks for any advice.
