what is an etek brush card assembly

I found an etek motor on ebay that doesn't come with the "brush card assembly" I can't seem to yahoogle my way out of this one so maybe you guys can school me. Are they available elsewhere? hOW MUCH?

Seems to be some weird n00b lingo for the brush assembly. They're kinda pricey for a brush assy (8 separate brushes) at about $90. The only place I found that sold the whole thing is Electric Vehicles USA, and all their stuff seems to be pretty overpriced.
