Need pinout & voltage specs for 408 hub motor hall sensors
Submitted by ronin149 on Tue, 08/26/2008 - 11:10.
I purchased a X-408F Crystalyte hub motor. I got only the motor as I am building my own controller. It uses the standard round 5-pin connector for the hall effect sensors. I need the pinout for this connector. I also need to know the acceptable range of voltage for the hall effect sensors.
I have tried to contact Crystalyte to no avail.

Re: Need pinout & voltage specs for 408 hub motor hall sensors
I finally heard from Crystalyte. This is what they told me:

1 = (+) Red
2 = (-) Black
3 = Signal ( Yellow )
4 = Signal ( Green )
5 = Signal ( Blue )
The hall sensors require 4.5-24V.
