Great job toyota! Make the customer wait 5 years for the next gen prius, then tell them it wastes more gas and has less fuel economy! I would bet the bank this was a decision by a very small group of people in suits and ties in an office in new york somewhere.

I might as well say it. The big corps of the world truly deserve to go extinct and their model of oligarchy,delays and BS with it.
I think perhaps you should revisit the wording of the article. It states "fuel economy to drop just below 4.0L/100km (from the current 4.4L/100km)". This reduction in L/km would be an increase in fuel economy from the previous Prius. However, I'm still waiting for a model I can plug in.
Toyota has a great car they are producing and all you can do is jump all over them.
I guess you are just showing your "American Stupidity"
1) You can not even spell stupidity correctly.
2) You do not know how put a sentence together. (wastes more gas and has less fuel economy!)
3) Like Adamase says, you are totally wrong about the fuel economy going down.
4) You live in America so you are calling yourself stupid, like your title says.
It's OK though, we all make mistakes. I bet you would love to remove that post :)
