The side stand on my 3500 has been wobbling when it's flipped down. I looked on the rear side of the kickstand and there is no nut securing the large bolt that the stand pivots on. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

There is no nut, the back metal part is threaded, just tighten the bolt some and it should be ok.

Thanks Johnny. Unfortunately this is a moot point because the side stand has now snapped off from the body. Bad weld, I guess. Nice!!
