re: V is for Voltage Policy change

Hi,

just need to ask here because the recent post about policy change is locked:

(See http://visforvoltage.org/forum/5165-v-voltage-policy-change-please-read )

I wonder if under this new policy the posting of something like my "Open Letter to Vectrix Corp" would be allowed.
(See: http://visforvoltage.org/forum/2977-open-letter-vectrix-corp )

I did not strictly speaking try to contact them through V, but posted the letter on V after sending it to several relevant people within Vectrix Corp.

The problematic part is that if vendors just do not answer direct communications about serious matters, what can you do?

And: can you still do it on V?

re: V is for Voltage Policy change

Mik,

If you look at the date of this change you will see it was back in October. To answer your question I would direct you to the first sentence which is Community members may not use V is for Voltage Forums for personal conflicts, or to contact vendors/dealers in open forums.

This tells me as long as I am not making contact and as the second sentence says stick to the facts I may post my side of a correspondence. However we would NOT want their response posted. That clearly indicates contact through V is for Voltage which we do not allow.

I hope this answers your questions. In the future please use the contact link for questions of this nature.

Thanks
Chas S.

Ooops!

I did not see that date. It just popped up in the "Recent posts" list today somehow and I thought it was new.
