Dear people, I'm Marcelo Shulman, 49, married, four children and I bought a chinese ebike kit. I instaled it on a MTB, see here =>

Typically if the bike runs at 24v, two sla batteries, upping the voltage to 36 volts increases speed. Often this requires obtaining a higher voltage controller, and then figuring out what wire goes where on the new one. Going more than 12 v higher could damage the motor unless you know from others than it can take more.
