BATTEQ Recall Notice

According to Sean Rarey (Grants Pass EV http://www.gpev.us/) SmartSpark systems has issued a recall notice on the BATTEQ.

There is a PDF linked on the GPEV home page. It says at least one BATTEQ failed and took out a battery pack, hence the recall.

I tried to find information direct from SmartSpark but they seem to have changed the name of their company and the product line-up and the new website has no information.

Maybe this is why they stop production. It seems like the EV industry is thier own worst enemy.
