Forgive me if this has been covered, but during the last couple of charges, the "R" light has been lit up. I also noticed the temperature indicator reading something ridiculous like 129 degrees. The first time was right after riding, so the batteries could have been warm. Last night's charge was a full charge on empty batteries that should have been as cool as could be. Everything else seems normal.
Any thoughts?

That's a new one! Never heard of it before.
Just a bad temp sensor would not cause the "R" telltale to light up, I think.

There is always a way if there is no other way!
I always get the R light on when recharging. In my opinion, the twist grip sensor may need some recalibration. I like it quite "uncalibrated", because reverse reacts faster...
