Advantages of a 20 inch bike ?

I currently ride an older Schwinn mtb with the BL36 kit. Love it. Now I am thinking of converting a 20 inch bike for the hills we have here.
Any suggestions on which used bike to look for? Need adult size, as I am 5 ft. 10.
