VMoto http://www.vmoto.com.au/ has just acquired e-max before Christmas. 23/12/09.

See http://www.google.com/url?sa=X&q=http://www.vmotoltd.com/Download-document/310-Vmoto-LTD-Update.html&ct=ga&cd=Xc0_wyJ8UDM&usg=AF... It downloads a PDF.

You can also surf to it here

Apparently, production runs of the e-max will increase considerably as they're moving it to nanjing, their new scooter manufacturer site.

Got this from a google alert.

Hat’s off. Well done, as we know that “hard work always pays off”, after a long struggle with sincere effort it’s done.

and now we know that VMoto will be producing VX2 which EMAx had the tooling for.. Will it be sold exclusively through Best Buy in Europe too or is BB going to tolerate independent dealers distribution?

Re: E-max has been acquired by VMoto Australia in late December

So Vmoto will be selling E-max and ...

be the OEM to build the Vetrix VX2
VMOTO sign up with Vectrix LLC
http://www.vmoto.com.au/2010/VMOTO-SECURES-OEM-SUPPLY-AGREEMENT-WITH-VECTRIX.html

Wow that's a pretty concentrated source of Electric Scooters

Edit - Just got some search results happening, Looks like E-max and Vectrix have been discussing options for a while on VX2.
