Working on my ground design but need to purchase motor kit before beginning the welding of the frames rear section so I can set up the disc brakes.

S.Badger...

Yes - using pedal free settup on my trike... link to image of wheels - http://visforvoltage.org/forum/5645-dual-x5039s

10Inch rims - 5302 motors. dual Kelly controls.

Using motorcycle discs on these motors due to the weight/speed of the bike. It was necessary to machine an adapter to mount the discs to the standard mounting holes on the motor casing. The brakes I'm using are a left/right set from a racing go-kart - hydraulic twin piston jobbies - using left-hand brake lever to opperate.

The 'standard' discs seem a bit too light weight for any serious usage.
