"Reset Battery" option

What is the "reset Battery" Option for and when would I want to use it?

Instructions are: press and hold Mode for 5 cycles of backlight toggles to reset battery. Will beep rapidly when reset.

Re: "Reset Battery" option

You reset the battery when your voltage at "fully charged" exceeds 41V but the display doesn't show a full set of bars. To check the voltage after a full charge wait one hour. Then power up the controller and simultaneously press and hold the "mode" and "chrono" buttons until the display shows only four (4) zeros. Change the display one digit at a time to 3772, then press and hold the mode button to return to the standard display. The voltage will show at the lower left. (To change from 0000 to 3772 increase the digits one at a time from left to right using the A+ button serially. When you reach the desired number press the "mode" button to accept it and move to the next digit).
