EVT4000 Adjust throttle sensitivity

I have an early EVT4000 ~2003 model.
My throuttle uses a cable (not hall effect with wires) which pulls on a spring loaded plate which allows an optical sensor to get more light from an emitter and increases the speed. I eventually would like to replace that with hall affect, but for now, I wanted to share my findings on a little potentiometer adjuster.
Its the little blue square with wite center on the upper right corner in the attached pic.
If you rotate that clockwise, your throttle will become more sensitive (not have to rotate as much to increase speed.
I turned my all the way up, and its much better now.
At first I drilled a hole through the heat sink so I could ajust it on the fly, but maxing it out seems to give the best respons.
Just wanted to share for all those that still have this old controller.
