Insurance Claim - How to Proceed

Hello all,

I was sitting at a red light on my VX-1 and was rear-ended by a woman who just left the dentist's office after getting a tooth pulled.

The scooter still works fine - just plastic bodywork damaged.

I'm in Wynnewood PA (19096). Should I wait for a dealership to be re-established nearby for repairs?

Appreciate any advice.

Re: Insurance Claim - How to Proceed

I think there is a transmission in VX-1? I was rear ended on my Gold Wing and it stripped some thing to do with a spline shaft and I didn't know it till a few days later going to work and it finally let loose then. I had a good insurance company and there verified it was most likely caused by accident. I think the VX-1 is three to one gear reduction so a hit will most like gear up torque or twisting on motor shaft. In other words possible damage to gears back there. Is your neck OK? Again it takes days later~er for symptoms to occur. Get some estimates from some where some how and keep in touch with proper peoples.
