Hub motor and controller?

I am looking for a hub motor like the one used for a Trikke Pon-e or a 16" front wheel folding electric bicycle. The hub motor should be about 250 watts with a wheel/tire between 12 and 16 inches. I am trying to make a push stick for in-line skating. There is a bulky and loud gas engine version called a Roller Cycle.

Can a typical hub motor use two wires that come from an ordinary PWM controller? I have some 36 volt 20 amp PWM controllers. Can anyone recommend a compatible (250 watt?) hub motor that includes a small wheel?
