NBC evening news did a piece tonight on Antarctica oil and gas. It seems with the Ice starting to melt, several countries are rushing to stake a claim. Russia just planted a Flag under water, and the US has a boat on the way to also stake out a claim as well.
Why stop Global Warming when it's slowly melting the Ice so they can get to more oil and gas?
