Re: So I got the pocket bike thing going one more.............

pocket bike planey (PbP) and mostly Aproldan
Really pissed me off for a bit.............
I took a little break and sat back and watched PbP every day and was discusted at the crap that was being posted.
You see people like Aproldan,"TeeEnSee" and some other members dont like me because my Radical views on EVpocketbikes and the quality controll I Expect from people that choose the push the envelopes with me....You see All I wanted was to be with the sport through the roughest part(the start of something new)

After reciveing numerous bad parts from one company (nameless) That Quote sell to every electric small scooter/cart stores on the net(come to find out that untested products were leaving thier warehouse and being shipped to customers(the numbers I saw were crazy!) I got so pissed off that I took every one I recived from that jive company apart and remade only 2 good working controller out of a large hand full of Dead on arival controllers. The best part I got so pissed off I opened a topic on "PBP" Calling out this one company(bad Idea) and they had the gull to say they tested every controller befor shipping, Even though one of the bad controllers has dirt and crud inside when I opened it up to see what was wrong....(Sure that company was nice on the phone, but thier crew did not know jack about testing, for ranting that they test every part befor they ship!!!!!)

For the past couple months I parted all my EV pocketbikes and EV dirt bikes for parts for my new inventions. Remember When I posted a thread on new ideas for small EV's? Yep I did it. Now I am waiting for a buyer so I can sell my latest patent(the G-force, A small EV that can push over 2G's at only 15-18mph!!!) If any one has a conection to investors contact me for further info....It is a one of a kind Idea that holds it's own patent! very very cool

this is what I was up to for the last couple months. I am no longer a member on PbP(I choose not to change my ISP no longer for such a LAME forum that is killing our sport with cheep ripp off bikes it promotes) Aproldan can handle all the retarded question on that forum from now on, even though he really does not do a great job at it in the first place!

Hey Mr Exon,

Do you race your bikes against gas pocketbikes? How do the two technologies stack up performance wise?

Re: So I got the pocket bike thing going one more.............

here is a Radar shot of two of my older bikes
Radar used was a Stalker Pro Computer out put Gun Done by the man "Marcelo"(pocket bike GOD)evtest2.jpg himself

The Blue one is a full race GAS "Polini6.2"...I had to put all my body into the handle bars to keep the front tire down.
The Polini6.2 is the fastest pocket bike you can buy in the price range befor you get into "open class bikes"

My older bikes did not do so well, I still was useing junk contrillers from that "nameless company" from T.N.
MAN they really let me down! I will be doing a nother graph as soon as I can, no one around here exept cops have those radar guns, And I dont want the cops seeing how fast my "toy" Really goes!

But if you look at the graph, I beet the Polini off the line wich means a lot coming out of turns on a short track.

As for other low end pocket bikes: (all of these I have raced already, oh ya and won with ELECTRIC!!!!)
Cag2.5(Cagllari) 20-29mph very slow take off!No performance!
X-bike(X1,X5,X6,X7 that is under 50cc (Way to heavey for the small motor they use out of a weedwacker) No performance!
Cat eyes(the worlds worst form of imotation pocket bikes)No performance!
GP MX3 and GP RS-R, fun but still DOGS No performance!

Entry level RACE bikes: Some more wins
Blata 2.5 set up for the track Good Cag killa!

So yes I have taken out other gas bikes in the past, not full on race bikes though, I no longer think it is posible with the 80pound tank of a pocket bike I ride..once I get dry cells and the 4Kw brushless set up it will be a nother story!

Thats cool you've won some races with electric. Looks like the raw physics, especially power to weight ratio's should give electric vehicles the advantage over the next few years. Not sure how this specifically applies to pocketbike design but it sounds like an exciting time to be involved in any kind of EV racing 8)

Re: So I got the pocket bike thing going one more.............

I am now working on a High amp over clocked water cooled DC controller, it should be a real kick in the pants when it comes to take off speed with the dry cells I have near complete now....
As for right now I have halted work untill I get my red shrink rap for my cells, O may get some silver later and put it on the sides of the pack so it flows with the bike's paint job. So for now I have Taken a job at donut Joint in town, I now have a midnight job(to support my bad habits, "inventing") that is so laid back, it is like working at starbucks*(they are next door, LOL) All the donuts, bagals, cofee and all sorts of paisteries are all for me to eat and get the stumoch aches with. I can see my self getting as big as my friend aproldan very soon LoL :D

I was bord two days ago, we had a bad over cast so my conection to the internet was very limmited if any. I graped some PVC tube and made some knee slider pucks so I wont have to worry about my pants getting black shite on them fromthe "assFult" when I practice and make my videos...
RSCN2803.jpg
RSCN2805.jpg
Yes I used them......
they worked great, I just have to lower my need for them whith better tire traction, but with fall coming any day now the parking lots are going to be dirty as all hell!

Last me making a potata snack (very finely cut, I have a nice knife and great skills saiz my wife)

 at least that is what the pick makes it look like LoL

When I watch that third video, the only thing that comes to mind when I see you turn near the garage is, "THUMP". :D

Re: So I got the pocket bike thing going one more.............

this is a video to show 0-300ft marked every 100ft

100ft 6 seconds
200ft 9 seconds
300ft 12seconds

I do belive I could have gone faster if my batteries and motor weren't so close to getting over hauled..In other words this bike has over 300 miles on the parts so it is a tad pudgy on take of power nowa days
