Hi,
today my back tire was flat.
Put the Emax on the main stand, use the necessary screw driver and take out about 15 screws. Watch out, don't take out the 3 screws who where deeper, they hold the motor together. Now you can take away the outer ring. The tube comes out and in my case I fixed it with a patch (normally used for bicycles). I mounted everything together and it works fine.

We need help with some wiring on an EMax Sport. The download library (http://visforvoltage.org/topics/schematic) doesn't work. We are in the process of installing new batteries, and we have everything mounted and all the batteries hooked up, but when we try to drive it, nothing happens. The lights, key, horn, battery level indicator, and even the charger work like they should, but it doesn't drive.

I have driven 2006 to 2009 an E-Max S. I have still the charger from this vehicle.

Now a friend has an electric scootger with also 4 lead batteries, but his charger is defect.

When I would know where is at the plug of the E-Max S charger plus and minus, I could give him my old charger.

To avoid miss understoods, best would be a photo from the plug and + - marked on the photo

Firstly I would like to discorage anybody from buying an Emax. Below is the most serious of my problems but there have constantly been others right from new.

when it is heavy raining on my e-max the horn or the winker is always on. When it is dry I have no problems.
I think that the contacts get wet.
Anyone a solution ?

I use lithium mangan batteries 16 cells 30 Ah. After 12687 km in the E-Max 90S and before 2000 km in an other scooter still in good condition.

Now there happened several strange events, so randomly, that I compare it with epilepsy.

June 1: uphill with power button, suddenly power reduced "low battery, charge battery" in display.
Switch off, on
I test several full acceleration with power button, volt drops never below 44,5.

does anyone knows something about the SettingBox to read out or change the e-max parameters ?
Pinout, dataformat, commands ?
Is it possible to use a Laptop with a serial Connector (USB or RS232) and a TerminalProgramm (HyperTerm) ?
I'm happy about any answer.

bought an e-max S110 last week. I am very satisfied about this electric vehicle. Want to make myself familar with them for future repairs. I'm looking for the schematics and dissassembling instructions. Does anyone have it as pdf and send it to me ?
