Need Help

I have a Electric Bike that I purchase used. It has a 3000w motor on it and 60v battery. My problem is I'm getting only 40 mph. I took a look at the controller. I found 4 shunts and there is 3 more space availble to add. I need to find out if there is any other ways I can speed up this bike other than adding shunts and if I add shunts will it work.

LED Lights

Hi
Can anyone out there help . I have a number of 12volt x 4 led low wattage clusters at my disposal. These already have a resistor that drops 12v dc input to the clusters 6v working voltage of the 4 LED's. I would like to use these instead of the 36v lamps ( I don't want to fit a dc/dc converter / tap off one of the 12 volt batteries or re-wire the loom / switches etc ) . Can anyone tell me what value of resistor I need to drop the 36v scooter voltage to 12volt LED ??
Thanks,
Wuffa.

Nicom 50km +

Hello! I just recently purchased a Nicom scooter for what could have been the deal of the year. A fellow had posted his bike on kijiji with a description stating that he had went over a bump and the electrics all shut off and rather take it to a mechanic he would just rather buy a new bike. He listed it for $85 but when we got into the conversation on how I was going to take it home , I told him I would be walking it all the way back up to the suburbs where I live. So He gave it to me for $40 ;) for my troubles… LoL $40 dollars

36 to 42 volt conversion

I know this has probably been done or talked about but can I use (7) 6v batts instead of (3) 12volts to raise my voltage on my 36v scooter to get a little more power out of it. The weight of the 6volts wouldn't be too much more and I have the room. I think the controller and motor would be ok too any Input??

Can you take a look at this and tell me if this cord is correct?

Okay...wrong forum again, I suppose? Sorry, feel free to move me around if I chose incorrectly, please! :)

Rather than add to the forum, I posted photos on my blog. Would you be so kind as to look at what I've posted and tell me what I just did to the wires?

All help appreciated!

I am so new at these scooters, I am truly the least knowledgable about these. However, I do like to learn, so tell me what to do? :)

Best,
ArtistGloria

Why no, why Yes and hot to convert a car to electric propulsion…

Why no, why Yes and hot to convert a car to electric propulsion…

When will large car manufacturers really deliver electric cars?
When will price and performance of these cars match your expectations?
It might take longer than we are expected to wait…

Do you want to be independent and build an electric car that will meet your needs?
Maybe it makes sense to thinking of converting an existing fossil fuel car to electric propulsion?
