Small electric scooters and pocket bikes

Im new to them site. I have a pacelite electric scooter that was in garage and started up full throttle all by itself. The power and key did not turn off. Actually happened to 2 scooters , where do you start?

I received an E300 with faulty batteries.

1) I connected an external PS of 20v dc. Lights came on. When I move the throttle, it makes a clicking sound but wheel didn't rotate - is this normal - a safety feature?

2) Razor says 10m range - can it be realized?

3) What Ah battery should I get - thinking of using it to train station - so about 9 miles round trip.
Larger Ah battery will fit in right?

4) The handlebar does not fold - any mods?

I have been task to repair a small E scooter, all the wires have been disconnected from the controller and also all the body wires. I need a schematic of the whole scooter which I have been searching for days and have not found. I believe it is a China scooter and there are many variants of this scooter including E-scooter, Scoot-N-Go, Sunl and a few more, they are all the same. I have seen the schematic of the controller but no body wiring. I sure would appreciate any help on this subject.

Hello: I just got a fully-funtioning Badsey Hot Scoot and a restorable Cruiser I want to mod the Cruiser. The Hot Scoot will stay stock for now. Anybody out there that's done some mods that can share motor and sources? Is there a better place on the web for me to look? Thanks!

Was sent the press release below - it's for a small stand-up scooter that hits all the factors I want to see. Good power, light enough to carry around, and the steering tube doubles as a carrying handle. This would make it great for carrying on-board a mass transit vehicle, making it a great last mile vehicle for a commute via mass transit.

I have a VX-1 that is sort of going south and new it might of had a real 25 or 30 mile range. It is 2007 and back then it was 125 volts worth of NiMH pack powered and three hour charge time. I am trying to find information on Vectrix VX-2 and type of battery pack. Nothing shows up much on Google and what does show up is 40 to 55 mile range. Now that would be great. But if it is a small scooter then how could it have that much range.? Does it have Lithium pack or is it NiMH like the VX-1? Is it a 60 volt pack or 96 volt pack?

Here's the first step, going over the initial step. I did some work yesterday, shot two more videos yet to be posted, and the controller/throttle is now hooked up.

I just bought an electric scooter from a local store.

It has 18 inch wheels, weighs about 200 lbs, has a 500w 38A controller, 500w wide angle motor and a 60v 20ah lithium battery that says 600watts on it.

It has great torque, but it can only reach 30 km/h. I need it to reach 40 km/h. I want to upgrade the controller, but I'm not sure what to get.

What controller will maintain its current torque, but increase its top speed?
