Description: I though I would report on my progress; My batteries are HiPower batteries which I got from ElectroMotor sport 2 packs of 16 cells wired in parallel for a 48 volt 40 AH system. I'm getting more cells to bring the system up to 60 AH and 3 parallel packs. No BMS yet so I'm being very careful with the discharge of the cells I have about 50 miles of test riding and there are bugs like any new design but so far I happy with the way its turning out. The design is (I hope) DOT compliant and I just started the process of getting a vin number. I do have the dream, desire of going into the motorcycle business but it's just a dream at this point. Update: She got some paint
