After doing a Sign In, I am taken to my "account" page instead of back to the page I was on.
Most of the time I want to see the page I was on.
Also, using Back, Back did not successfully get me there either.

1. I just tried again to go Back, Back, and that worked, but then I had to "refresh" the page to see it as a user, which is understandable.
2. There were no replies or comments to my first post here, but still I could not edit it to correct or update it.
Is that expected?

Yes.. we've long had this set up so that the main posting is not editable by the owner of that post. Comments are configured with different permissions than exist for main postings and it's not possible to configure comments the same as we have for main postings. That's why comments are sometimes editable and the main posting is not.
