I had the opportunity to be in China this week and went over to Headways Headquarter near Shanghai and brought 16 of there LiFePO4 Lithium Battery Cell 16AH, so while I was there I also brought a bms and a 48v battery charger..
The bms was a third party as Headway themselves dont make bms's but was in a package so I didnt notice there wasn't any instructions on how to connect it to the battery and as usual with most stuff from China there wasn't..
I'm back in Australia now and emailed Headway on Friday asking them for some kind of instruction on how to connect it..I'm still waiting to hear from them but thought I'd try asking anyone on here also.
I also found a diagram below on the net, looks useful but not 100% sure..

ps - I got 16 wires coming out the connector on the bms.. and there's no make or model number on the BMS..
also there's a P- and B- to connect wires too..

So anyone have any idea?
