What to do with Vectrix NiMH cells? San Jose, California

Hi all,

So I have a bunch of nimh cells from my VX1 scooter that I want to get rid of. Some of them are probably good ish, but I had many cells go bad which I shunted and then gave up trying to keep the remaining nimh cells balanced.

At some point I wanted to replace with li ion, but I never get around to doing it. So anyhow, I have no use for these cells. Anybody local to the bay area that wants to take the cells for free let me know. Its a all or none proposition.

I'd like to take some or all of them and carefully take them apart and reverse engineer them. They seem like a nice design but no one makes them anymore. I am going to strip an old VX-1 that had no battery pack in it and make it a Lead Sled sort of speaking. I have dozens of 12200 20 AH batteries to play with and Lead is too easy to charge. I took apart an old Edison cell and except for a arc inside it was like new. That is pure Nickel and Iron. An actual Nickel Iron cell from the trains. So you can Message me here or Google me.

Good luck. I PM'd him the first day saying I'd take them and never heard back
