Brushed or Bushless

Wanted to know if this motor was brushed or brushless and how can I tell.
Thanks for any help can get!

I recognize that as a BD-36.

Brushless motors have three phase wires and usually 5 smaller hall wires. The wires are also directly connected to the rotor instead of through that brush assembly.

If you take off the other cover plate you'll see the brushes and commutator.

Yup Wilderness energy BD 36 for sure. To test it, you can just hook up the two wires to a 12v battery and see if it spins. If you are controllerless, some sellers still have the stock one, and ecrazyman has generic ones on ebay. Any brushed controller will work but some are faster than others. Higher amps ones give the most torque.
