I'm picking up a new scooter this coming tuesday. It is a 450 watt scooter with a 2-speed motor. What is the proper way to use this 2-speed? There is a switch to change the speed, at what time do you switch the speed?? This is my first scooter and can't wait to get going! Also is there a proper way to break in a new scooter??
Thanks

O K , two speeds, hi-low, low makes the bike fit under some states speed requirements. If you are in low, let off the throttle and switch to high! you should be able to go in hi without shifting, but with less acceleration LaTeR
thank GOD I wake up above ground !!!!
Nearly all electric bicycles or scooters that have 2 speeds have these two self-explanatory settings: Power or Economy. They aren't designed to be "shifted" between while riding, although if you're cruising along in economy mode and decide you need faster acceleration/higher speed, the majority can be shifted while in motion.
